What happens to what you send us. Updated September 2026.
What we collect
When you fill in the quote form we collect your name, your phone number or email address, the details of the piano and the two addresses, and any photographs you attach. We collect it because we cannot quote for moving a piano without it.
Cookies and adverts
We advertise on Google. To know which adverts actually bring people here, Google sets a cookie when somebody arrives from one of our ads and clicks through to the quote form.
We also use Google Analytics to count how the site is used: which pages people read, how they got here and whether anything is going wrong. That tells us about the site rather than about you. We do not use it to build a picture of you as a person, we do not join it up with anything else we hold, and nothing from it is sold on.
You are asked first. Until you say yes, Google is told not to store anything on your device, and it is not. If you say no, nothing is stored and the site works exactly the same.
The two are asked separately, so you can agree to one and refuse the other. Advertising covers measuring our ads and making the ones you see elsewhere more relevant. Counting visits covers Google Analytics.
You can change your mind whenever you like. , or use the Cookies link at the foot of any page. It comes back with your current answer showing and you can change either switch.
What we do with it
It comes to us as an email so we can reply with a price. If you book the job we keep the details while the work is being arranged and for as long as we need them for our records and our insurance.
We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to anybody who is not working on your move.
Photographs
Pictures you attach are stored so they can be looked at alongside your enquiry. They are not published anywhere and they are not indexed by search engines. If you would rather we deleted them once the job is done, say so and we will.
Who else sees it
The website runs on Cloudflare and the email is sent through Resend. Both hold the information only in order to get it from the form to our inbox. Google sees that an enquiry happened, if you agreed to the cookie above, but not what was in it.
Asking us to delete it
You can ask us what we hold about you and you can ask us to delete it. Email contact@vvmmovers.com or call 07852 948234 and we will sort it out. There is nothing to pay and you do not have to give a reason.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your details badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
